New, exciting service and step closer to real airline environment have been developed for SEA members.
What is Flight Dispatch Center?
By declaring your availability for flights to SEA OPS (ops - at - fly - sea . com), pilots will face totally new concept of flight assignment and realism.
Instead of choosing themselves the flight they will fly, SEA OPS will assign the flight(s) in VAFS and provide full ops preparation and support for those flights.
Pilot has a possibility to declare the availability for more days in the current (or coming) month, or simply use this service on ad-hoc basis.
The assigned routes will be given according to various factors including the announced Fly-in events, aircraft position, etc...
If more than 1 day of operation is concerned (i.e. if pilot asks for disaptched flights for 10 days in the month), he/she can also fly the flights of his own choice in the meantime, but should do all possible to operate all dispatched flights throughout the month.
Should the assigned route be a problem (i.e. scenery), pilot should advice SEA OPS FDC asap.
