If asked which routes and airplanes are mostly used in VA world, majority would answer without hesitation - mid rangers and flights up to 2 hours.

The most of them would be caught by surprise realising that from Top 5 most utilisied airplanes in FlySEA Group, 4 of them are actually long rangers!

Reasons for success of FlySEA long range operations are quite obvious;

- well-trained pilots that perceive long range flights (especially ETOPS) as top of the VA flying career

- attractive long-range network which literally allows you to circumnavigate the globe flying the standard, scheduled long range flights from our network.

Last meetings and discussions about the further expansion of SEA long range network clearly indicate that, becasue of great potential, long range development is one of our strategic targets. Consequently, existing 8 long rangers (A330, A340, B777) may soon get few more units to enlarge capacity and allow expansion of intercontinental traffic.

Destinations are currently well-balanced and cover our main areas of interest; European long range flights are heading to Canada, USA, Carribean, South Africa, than connecting via Dubai and Hong Kong to our Bangkok hub and flights across Asia, Pacific, China and Australia. Finally, Sydney connects Asian and US network through the Oakland gateway.

There is no need to change the winning concept - we just have to make it better. Increasing frequency on long range network and adding new, attractive destination will, for sure, keep us among the top intercontinental flyers in the VA world.
