Years ago it was almost impossible to think about the more-than-2-engine airplane will ever join the Skyeast Airways fleet. So many may be taken by surprise seeing VR-SAV, A340-300 joining the SEA long-range fleet. "While it was not an easy decision, some markets simply ask for 4 engine long ranger. If we want to expand to those markets, we had to go for it. After exploring all possibilities, A340 proved to be the best choice partially thanks to our extensive experience in operation and support with A330." A340 will take over the most distant routes, mainly Europe-South America and Europe-Far East sectors.
